The St. Julie Billiart Christian Leadership Award recognizes both an alumna of MND and a graduating senior who have demonstrated a deep personal commitment to Jesus Christ through contributions to the spiritual life of the MND community, as well as through their active participation in the life of their parishes and service in the broader community. This year, we are thrilled to announce Lisa Wagner Jennings ’93 and Emma Ganz ’24 as our esteemed recipients. Lisa is a devoted mom, loving wife, and active parishioner of Nativity for nearly 20 years. Lisa’s warmth, positivity and kindness is shared weekly in the halls of MND with her role as “Hank’s mom” as she shares Hank, a registered therapy dog, with the students and staff at MND.

Sr. Janet Schneider from Nativity spoke on behalf of our student recipient, Emma. Sr. Janet eloquently spoke of the shared characteristics between St. Julie and Emma, Emma’s participation at her new parish, St. Cecelia’s, and how Emma leads through service at MND. Congratulations to Lisa and Emma for this incredible honor!
