The Academic Team provides an opportunity for some of MND’s most talented minds to test their skill against other area high schools while competing in the Greater Cincinnati Academic League. Competitions are held at Cincinnati State University and feature lively and fast paced rounds of challenging questions on academic subjects that range across the curriculum.
This club gives students the opportunity to explore the French culture and cuisine through games, crafts, holiday celebrations and more. French Club is a great way to practice French conversation. MND periodically sponsors trips to France over the summer or during spring break for students wishing to have a French immersion experience. Membership is open to students currently enrolled in French classes and those who have taken French in the past.
This club explores Roman culture, practices and cuisine through events and holiday celebrations. The MND Latin Club is a member of the Junior Classical League. The league’s objective is to encourage an interest in and appreciation of the language, literature and culture of ancient Greece and Rome and to impress an understanding of the contributions of these classical cultures. Membership is open to all students currently enrolled in Latin or to those who have taken Latin in the past.
This mathematical honors society empowers young women in the study and enjoyment of mathematics and to encourage creative thought. Membership is by application and members must maintain a 90% cumulative average in math.
The National Honors Society elevates a school’s commitment to the values of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. NHS members are leaders in the community, dedicated to learning, committed to service and living with integrity. These pillars are expanded on through peer tutoring and service activities to the school and community. Students that are academically eligible in the second semester of their sophomore or junior year will be invited to apply.

This club offers opportunities to explore the experiences and cultures of Spanish-speaking peoples. Membership is open to all students studying Spanish and to those who have taken Spanish in the past. There are also opportunities to be inducted into the National Spanish Honor Society. Eligible students are contacted in the second semester through their Spanish classes.
