Parking & Drop Off
Here are a couple suggestions to help your morning drop-off go smoothly:

Arrive early. MND staff will be available to welcome your daughter as early as 7:20 a.m. Please arrive by 7:30 a.m.

Visitor spots are directly in front of school and will be open for you to park in. Please try to avoid parking in any numbered spot as these are designated to students.

An Ambassador will greet your daughter at the main entrance and lead her to the Learning Commons to meet her hostess.

Parent/Guardian Tours
Please consider joining the MND Admissions Team on a tour of campus during a typical morning at MND! Park in any visitor spot and enter the school with your daughter at 7:30 a.m. Our tour begins when our 8th grade visitors are paired with their MND student hostesses and set off for a great day at MND. Spend as much or as little time as you have available, getting a close-up look at MND education in action! We will walk the halls, observe a few classes, and experience firsthand life at MND.

What to Wear
Please have your daughter wear school-appropriate clothing – nice jeans, pants, joggers, etc; no shorts, torn/ripped clothing, or flip-flops.

Lunch
Your daughter will receive a $5.00 voucher to enjoy lunch on MND (hot lunch items, salad bar, drink, snack, etc.)! She may also bring her own lunch if she chooses. Our lunch menu is posted on Friday for the upcoming week: Cougar Cafe – Mount Notre Dame High School (mndhs.org)

What to Bring
Water bottles are permitted throughout the school day. There will be an opportunity mid-morning to enjoy a snack.

Visiting students can bring a book to read or homework to work on if their hostess has a short quiz.

Special Instructions
Visitors are expected to abide by MND’s student guidelines, such as no food or cell phone use during class time. Any visitor needing to check her phone during the school day is welcome to do so during lunch or anytime her hostess stops in the Main Office or the Admissions area throughout the day.

End of the Day
At 2:30 p.m., visitors are escorted to the Foyer to wait for their ride home. Parents can wait in the front parking lot in any vacant parking spot or meet their daughter in the Main Office. Please note that dismissal for MND students is approximately 2:40 p.m. If the visiting student is going home with an MND student, she can wait for the student in the Foyer.

We’re here to help you every step of the way!
