Lisa and Bob’s journey towards establishing a family scholarship for Mount Notre Dame High School was deeply rooted in their shared belief in the transformative power of Catholic education. For Lisa, her formative years at St. Vincent Ferrer and Mount Notre Dame laid the foundation for a career in teaching and a dedication to nurturing young minds as a teacher at St. Vivian. Bob, a Moeller High School and Xavier University MBA alum, found his path to success guided by the values instilled in him during his education.
Their commitment to Catholic education extended to their own children, all of whom attended Nativity of Our Lord in Pleasant Ridge for grade school. Bobby ‘20 and Patrick ‘23 thrived at St. Xavier High School, while Kathleen and Caroline have flourished at Mount Notre Dame, excelling in academics, athletics, and service.
Driven by the biblical principle from Luke 12:48, “To whom much is given, much is required”, Lisa and Bob viewed their success with their company 3D Color as an opportunity to give back. Their company’s growth provided the means to support causes dear to them, with Mount Notre Dame High School standing out due to its dedication to empowering young women.
The decision to establish a scholarship was a natural progression of their gratitude and commitment. They envisioned a scholarship that would not only alleviate financial burdens but also inspire recipients to embrace the values of leadership, service, and academic excellence. Lisa and Bob hoped their contribution would encourage young women like Lisa, Kathleen and Caroline to continue making a positive impact in their communities, just as their education has empowered them to do.
Through their scholarship, Lisa and Bob aimed to create a lasting legacy of support and opportunity, ensuring that future generations of students at Mount Notre Dame would have the chance to flourish, guided by the same principles that have shaped their own lives so profoundly.
