It was a stressful time. Our children had largely grown up outside of our hometown of Cincinnati. We had just learned that we would be transferred “back home”, but our daughter’s lives and friends were somewhere else.

We knew we wanted a Catholic education for our children and visited several high schools during our “house hunting” trip to Cincinnati. Our first visit to MND was life changing. During a tour of the facilities, JV Basketball was practicing in the gym. The players welcomed and introduced themselves to my basketball-loving daughter…it was just what she needed! She could see herself with new friends in a place where she could become what she wanted to be. Our second daughter also found her welcome place with the theater program and Big Sister’s community service.

This MND Spirit, great academics, and service to others is the formative basis for our daughter’s success and outlook on life today.
