Senior Laura Fagan Named Coca-Cola Scholars Semifinalist

MND is proud to announce that senior Laura Fagan has been named a 2025 Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Semifinalist. Only 1,336 Semifinalists were chosen among more than 105,000 applicants this year because of their outstanding leadership, academic achievements and dedication to their community.

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program is the largest corporate-sponsored, achievement-based scholarship program in the United States. With the addition of the 37th class, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation will have provided more than 7,050 Coke Scholars nationwide with over $87 million in scholarships since 1986.

MND Principal Karen Day notes, “Laura’s excellence at Mount Notre Dame spans across stellar academics and strong leadership in service, athletics and extracurriculars. She exemplifies empowerment with an outward focus on improving self while striving to advocate for the dignity and needs of others. We thank Laura for being a role model for all of us.”

Following further review, 250 Semifinalists will advance as Regional Finalists, with 150 being named Coca-Cola Scholars and receiving a $20,000 college scholarship.
