Tim and Debi Marklay strongly believe in Catholic education. Tim (Moeller High School Class of ’86) puts a high value on the foundation that Moeller provided to him. Tim and Debi sent their two sons to Moeller (TJ – ’13 & Tanner ’15). They couldn’t help but notice the similarities of the Moeller “brotherhood” and the Mount Notre Dame “sisterhood”. Their daughters Chloe ’17 and Olivia ’19 truly became empowered young ladies through MND’s Catholic based education which offers the foundation for spiritual, academic, athletic and leadership formation opportunities.

This scholarship has been cordially established to provide an opportunity of empowerment for a young lady to join the MND sisterhood who needs financial assistance in order to do so. Hopefully, she proves to take full advantage of all that Mount Notre Dame has to offer and down the road someday.…returns the favor to someone else. Recipients of this scholarship need to maintain honor roll status, play a sport, and participate in at least one extra-curricular activity with a preference in a leadership position.
